Hi,
I have a Mini Grand system with the off board DAX. The power supply for that DAX died, and it's kinda wierd - 5 pins, and 18 VDC. Anyone know what the pinouts are? Anyone have a Mini Grand DAX power supply that could be used to get the pinouts?
I'm really hoping to restore bass to my system...
Thanks!
Peter

OK. It wasn't clear to me which board was the appropriate one for this question - here or in "wanted" (since I wanted something...

You should be able to fix it or have it fixed inexpensivly. Most likely the problem is no more than a bad capacitor or diode. The transformer is the only expensive and possibly hard to find item in the power supply, and if you don't smell anything burnt, it should be fine. You could start by simply replacing all the aluminum electrolytic-caps in the power supply and see if that revives it. If that doesn't fix it, then it will be time to start the troubleshooting procedure - which shouldn't be difficult.
