My new small system with Calipers

Postby TinyTim on Tue Apr 12, 2011 11:38 am

We had to relocate due to a new job. The new listening room is a lot smaller so i had to set up a smaller system until the Grand is refurbished and a new listening room can be built. So, i thought id share this.

System consists of:

Grado Reference Platinium Wood MM
CAT SL1 Signature MKII
DAP Audio DCX 24 (for subs)
Monarchy Audio DP22 DAC
3 x Krell KRS 200 Monos
1 x 70lb JVC Stereo Block from the 80s
Sphinx Project 32 CD Transport
Apogee Acoustics Caliper Signatures
2x 300lb Subwoofers from a German HIFI Guru

Hi Christoph,

yes, its been very busy here. I clocked 254 hours last month :( I am having the stages rebuilt as well, new ribbons and new finish in "Grand" look. Too many toys..... I usually go around the right Calipers, between the left subwoofer and Caliper to reach the turn table. But i am in a bit of space hell
