First time here please help

Postby Kenja on Sat Aug 01, 2015 7:21 pm

Hi everyone I'm a first time user here on Apogee my name is Ken nice to meet you all. I have a few questions about apogee ribbon crossovers. First I got these at a storage auction that unit contained a lot of nice vintage stereos and equiptment which I was able to sell on eBay. However I'm having trouble how much these two black crossover boxes sell for Or better why they don't sell when I post them up on eBay. When I got these they were in a box and there was a label that said tweets upgraded. Can anyone help or give me info on this? I'll post a pic but is it safe or will I damage anything if I open it up? Thanks and I hope you all have a nice weekend.

Hi Ken,

Welcome to the forum.
It sounds like you may have a set of crossovers for Diva's. Post a pic so we can see what you have. Opening them up shouldn't be a problem, but post a pic first. We may be able to help without you having to open them.

Good listening,
Z

Hello,
For some reason I'm havi,g trouble attaching my photo.is it ok to put in html format and send it? I did research and you are right. I do have the diva crossovers. Question.. Why are they so hard to sell? Thank you very much for your time. Any idea where I may be able to post them or. Idea where I can sell them? I have one for the left and one for the right. Thanks again.

They are probably hard to sell because they are made for the Diva's, and most, if not all, Diva owners will already have them, or an active crossover or an upgrade crossover. Not sure who might want them. Crossovers are easily repairable so it's hard to imagine a situation where someone would need to purchase a whole new crossover. Only thing I can think of is if someone finds a pair of Diva's in bad shape, and they happen to be missing their crossovers, and they want to restore the Diva's, then they would have need of the crossovers you have. It's a pretty small market.
Where are you located?
